Who is TranSe?

TranSe is a Los Angeles-born multidisciplinary artist, magician, and indie game developer. Known for his unique fusion of spoken word poetry and illusion, he creates immersive experiences under his creative label, The TranSed Mind.

Early Life & Magical Origins

Born in June 1990 and raised in Los Angeles, California, TranSe’s fascination with magic began at just 10 years old. His spark for the craft was ignited by an unexpected source: a magic show performed by his substitute teacher, Mr. Gold. This inspired him to dive into card manipulation and playground tricks.

While his practice was on-and-off during his youth, he fully committed to the art in 2010. His dedication grew so deep that he even began integrating magic into his college projects and final presentations.

Fusing Poetry & Illusion

Having been an active member of his high school's poetry club, TranSe eventually brought his love for words to Freedom of Speech Thursdays, a well-known open mic night in Hollywood. It was here that he first experimented with a unique artistic fusion: blending performance poetry with magic.
